12/12/2012 Waffle Wednesday #1

12/12/2012

Today’s adventure as semi-reuglar it may be is still an adventure for such is all my life.

Upon occasion in which the moon is full and our individual harvests be plentiful we of the pongetian able do gather. (In translation whenever we’re not all broke some of the people from my friends circle try to meet up at waffle house. The term pongetian is in reference to the beer pong table for we do play us some beer pong. {Sometimes we meet up even if we are broke. In such cases I will drink just coffee, eat toast or go without. [Same goes for any other who may be low of funds]})

As you may already suspect I did partake this morning. Rambling and strange conversation is standard amongst us. There were six of total on this Waffle Wednesday. The boys; Motorcycle and Collins sat at the bar a mere three feet from the booth where the girls sat. I refereed to this as girls island.

Upon arrival I was groggy so I wasn’t too observant. Fear not for after the second cup of coffee my senses became more alert. Only drinking coffee today I did in fact go through four and a half cups. I do cream no sugar. I use about one little half ‘n half per cup and that is the most calcium I consume for the day.

The tables were clean, that’s good. The heating is always weird at waffle houses though. You ever notice that? One side is super cold and one side is directly under the heater to it’s too hot. Admittedly this may be just the two tables we tend to sit at…

The food was reported as good and the service was decent. We had to ask for refills only once and she even offered Motorcycle the rest of his coffee to go.

T-fish just recently got an apartment and explained to us her plan to divide her studio with a curtain on which we all make hand prints. Quickly me and Angel become excited about finger painting. We have all sorts of cool ideas but T-fish says no. She won’t even agree to let me make a hand print turkey. I told her if you really don’t want blood smeared hands then don’t give me the red paint.

In the parking lot a hound dog howls. He’s cute but it’s a frosty morning. I dream of smashing the window and letting him free. Too bad this is on a busy road near the high way… Next time my furry friend.

So Waffle house in Huber Heights Ohio on Old Troy Pike… you’re alright. I really can’t stand the music you play but It’s my own cheap fault for not forcing better music on the jukebox. The food is good as always and the service is decent.

We used to meet here because Angel was a server, but now she’s got a cool better paying full time job. I’m back in school, Swankey’s back in school and we both work on top of that. Motorcycle and T-fish both work full time third shift. Collins works full time somewhere doing something. This was actually his first time to Waffle Wednesday. It started as just me and T fish when we both worked together third shift full time at a factory. Then Swanky came and it was a girls thing for a while. Motorcycle has been with us on these mornings since Fall… Anyway the point is now that Angel doesn’t work there we can do waffles anywhere so hopefully some more breakfast reviews to come.
